FAQ

How can I know when new work is available for purchase?

The best way is to follow me on Instagram or Facebook to see works in progress in the studio be the first to know when new paintings are added to the website.

Do you ever do commission work?

Yes, please see the COMMISSION PAGE for more information about the commission process and FAQs.

Do you ship paintings to people who aren't local?

Of course I do! I use USPS and FedEx Ground to be sure they arrive safely. Check out my shipping policies and you will see the shipping charge at check out.

Do you deliver locally?

Yes, this is a definite possibility, especially if the paintings are large. Use code SPOPICKUP at checkout for free shipping and email me so we can work out a time for you to pick up your piece at the studio.

What supplies do you use when you say "mixed media"?

I use all GOLDEN acrylic paints, ArtResin, oils, pigment powder, gauze, spray paint, pastels, Prismacolor pencils, embroidery thread, archival paper, birch panels, and canvas.

What do your paintings mean? Where DOES YOUR INSPIRATION COME FROM?

Check out the ABOUT page to learn more about the meaning and inspiration behind my work.

Would I need to frame my painting?

No. I only use gallery-stretched canvas and cradled wood panels which create their own frame with a 1-4" depth and can be hung without a frame. I also paint the sides of the painting as if the image wraps around the sides for a finished look. You are welcome to frame your piece if that is what you prefer.

Do you put a finish on the paintings?

Yes, I use a combination of Resin or Liquitex satin and matte varnish, both made to protect artwork from dust and light.
